This is essential to ensure problem-free introduction of glass into the tempering furnace, guaranteeing high final product quality. 

Optimal integration with the tempering furnace line

The Speed Arris merges seamlessly with the tempering furnace line, optimising every stage of the production process. The first step is glass processing: the Speed Arris guarantees high-productivity glass seaming, preventing in-furnace breakages. Subsequently, the processed glass passes through a wash unit (in-line with the Speed Arris), ensuring thorough cleaning prior to heat treatment.

Advantages of vertical and horizontal glass processing

One of the key features of the Speed Arris is that it can process glass in a vertical position, allowing for easier, safer handling. Once the vertical processing phase has been completed, the glass is removed from the wash unit and placed on a tipper table which positions it in a horizontal position on the tempering furnace roller conveyor, ready for the tempering process. This unique approach doesn’t just boost production efficiency: it also improves operational safety by reducing the risks associated with glass handling.
